Our Staff... Fr Mitchell Smith is our Rector. Fr Smith was ordained into the priesthood at Trinity, on July 1st 2006. He is married to Denise and they have a son, Noah. Robert Hill is our Web Master. Robert keeps this web site organized, bringing with him his considerable experience earned in the United States Navy. He sings in the choir and serves as a lector. Robert is married to Helen Hill, who also sings in the choir, is as member of Chat & Sew and occasionally helps in the office. Wanda Stahl directs Christian Formation in our parish. She works nearly half time, although much of that is a gift. Her full-time job is as a med tech. Her
passion is Godly Play, a method of teaching children which combines Christian story-telling with Montessori methods. Wanda is married to Jo Van Dorn, and has five grandchildren
among her Godly Play kids. She loves movies and theatre, has her own costume shop in the attic of her house, and sometimes still aspires to be the girl singer with a big band. She also laughs at the Rector’s jokes and can tell her own! Jo Ruth Capoccioni, and Willa Smith are a kind of music-making collective for the church. They take turns playing piano and/or organ for our
worship and rehearsing the choir. Jo Ruth teachings vocal music as her profession in the public schools; Willa (Jo’s Mom) has been teaching vocal music, piano and
organ for more than fifty years and coordinates music-making chores for the parish. The music folks have
to much fun making music to laugh at the Rector’s jokes. Ginny Schoneberg is our parish registrar. Tracking baptisms, confirmations, and memberships over a hundred-year period and through three congregations
requires someone with an eye for details and an excellent memory. Ginny brings those gifts. She is in the middle of a major project
to correct and update our membership records, something which will take the rest of the year and perhaps beyond to complete. Ginny has not yet heard all the Rector’s jokes,
but has laughed at some of them! Cindy Kline and Carol Houk are our pastoral care coordinators. They work with Ginny who has served in this capacity in the past and continues in supportive ways, and with our Rector. Cindy and Carol are lay Eucharistic ministers and work with other lay ministers to see that the Holy Communion is taken to those who cannot get to church to receive the Blessed Sacrament. Cindy stays plenty busy with a home business, school activities, and family responsibilities. She is married to Bill Kline, an optometrist, who can get her glasses at a discount! Carol is a retired teacher and is married to Robert Houk.
Ray McClure is our senior warden, the lay president of the congregation. He is assigned certain institutional responsibilities by canon law. THE VESTRY GROUP
